Hi All,
Glad to have access to Barter Town now. Have been using Audiokarma for years doing research on my audio gear from the past...mostly late '70's to early 80's. Most recently have hooked up with a local guy that sells LP's and classic audio gear. Have started working on some of them for him, switches and pots cleaned, recapping, some output transistors changed, classic speaker cleaning, updates and reworks. So far done work on classic Pioneer, Sansui, Marantz, Sherwood, Harman Kardon, Miracord, Phillips, Lafayette, Electrovoice, The Fisher, KLH, and Jensen.
Made my first contact through Barter Town looking for some specific gear that I've had trouble finding. Some of my past gear was home: Vector Research, Harman Kardon, Kenwood, Rega and RTR (before the disastrous BiC buyout) - auto: Concord, Linear Power, Fosgate (before Rockford). Looking forward to finding some friends across the country and learning a bit along the way.
