Memorial Day is the day we honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
Veteran's Day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Veterans are thanked for their service to the United States on Veterans Day.
Armed Forces Day is a joint celebration of all six branches of the U.S. military: Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Space Force, and the Coast Guard including the National Guard and Reserve components.. The day honors all people currently serving in the U.S. armed forces.
So while it seems appropriate to honor all active, veteran and fallen military personnel on this day, let us not forget what each observance is dedicated to.
To those who fell in our service, Thank You.
