Interesting how the preferences have changed for the years for me. Especially with genres.

Was rocking out with the guys early on.
While I mellowed out over the years, I've leaned towards the women singers.
To avoid to getting to soft, I got a number hard/metal rock albums and instrumentals. :biggrin:
 
Ok, but do you organize by Female or do they get grouped into everything else alphabetically?

More or less, my albums are grouped in together, alphabetically.

In the past year or so I started breaking them out into jazz and classical because that section grew quite a bit. Also have a separate section for "Richard Uncle's" albums that I inherited (1000+). Which consists quite a lot of Asian, Hawaiian, 60s easy listening stuff. The few rock albums were incorporated to my stuff.

Considering a section for rare and valuable. I'd hate the $$$$ albums tossed out with the $ stuff, when I kick.
 
Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston and Patti LaBelle were/are my favorite singers.
I've been on a Simon Phillips "Protocol" binge lately, excellent instrumentalists in that group and Simon is special on the drums.
Way too many guitarists, bassists and saxophonists I love and no time to name them all, each have their own special technique.
Many pianists as well, although I'll set out Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson as my all time favorites.
I'm a big Cal Tjader vibraphone fan, Lionel Hampton as well.
