But yesterday the FM airwaves were abound with Rush tunes. Neil Peart has to have been one of the best of the best. Period.
Was fortunate enough to have gotten to see them too. Second night of a two nights sold out show. Houston, Sam Houston Coliseum. "Moving Pictures" tour
And by luck, at that. Didn't have tickets. Thought we could probably scalp some.
And had a few scalpers try.
As we approached the ticket window, the guy was raising the stainless steel cover, to close down. We happened to ask if there might be a couple of tickets left.
He said he thought maybe so.
He lowered the cover and the lady in the ticket booth handed us two 7TH ROW CENTER STAGE FLOOR SEAT TICKETS.
Granted not the best concert ever. But most likely the best seating I've ever gotten.
Anyways was listening to the Marantz 2220b that didn't even have a working tuner section, I recently restored. While doing the same to a Sansui 500a.
