Hello.
I have a Michell Gyrodec with speed issues. It's a AC motor and Gyropower power unit setup. Bearing is fine with oil and the belts are brand new. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to reach speed, and even more to maintain constant speed. There are sudden dips in speed and it's really frustrating. With the new belts (2) it struggles to start the platter at all. I have removed one of them.
My question is if there are known and fixable capasitor issues or other with the QC or motor - before spending a lot for the DC upgrade?
