To any Prisma owners: Can you have a look at the drive belt alignment? My picture is not very good, but basically the platter and stroboscope seem to be perfectly aligned on the horizontal plane. However, the pully on the motor is noticeably lower. The poor Prisma was in non-ideal storage for many years, but hasn't really suffered. Everything turns very freely, etc.
The pulley on the motor seems firmly fixed on the shaft of the motor. Similarly the platter and strobe are sitting well in their normal positions (I think). I believe there is a small hex screw on the drive pulley which would allow me to loosen and adjust the height of the pulley. I just can't imagine how it would move however since everything seems to be tight. Is it possible that the drive pulley is designed to be in the slightly lower position?
Thanks fr any advice.
