I don't know how many AKers read Slate, but as I rummaged around on their site today, I came across a very good article that purports to be Mick Jagger's thoughts on Keith's recent autobiography. Keith's book has gotten good reviews (I haven't read it), but having read this, I'd love to read a book from Jagger on the Stone's history - this is pretty much warts on & all...

UPDATE: The website has now been edited to say "Imagine if Mick"... That wasn't there this morning, so it's Bill Wyman's (the author, not the bassist) thoughts on how Jagger might respond...

Wow, what a spectacular piece of writing. If that wasn't written by a ghost writer, but was actually written by Mick himself, I am truly impressed.

Well, that's interesting. Even with that disclaimer, the lead in about the "manuscript" is still there, so it's still confusingly misleading.
