Micro Seiki DDX/DQX-1000 SME armboard

Hi All,

I am fabricating an SME armboard for my Micro Seiki DQX-1000 and I got most down, but I am missing one important measurement on the arm board. That is the distance between the center over SME mount hole (or edge) and to the hole for mounting on the TT? Anbody?

Would really like if anybody could do the measurement on either the mount for 9" AX-2 or the 12" AX-4 mount!

Thanks
Kasper

I also have the DQX-1000, and I also made a board for the SME 3009 (9"). I did not have the Micro-made board, and based it on my own calculations — I used the SME mounting template in conjunction with the 'standard' AX-1. It was precise within ±1mm, but I made the SME-cutout a few mm longer than usual to allow for error. The distance from center of SME-cutout to center of mounting hole is 55.2 cm.

It works fine — I can easily get the cartridge alignment spot-on. But obviously, if someone gives you the measurement from the proper Micro Seiki board, then ignore my home-made effort and go with their information. Good luck!

2juki in Hong Kong has aftermarket boards that are reasonably priced. I'm looking for one of these as well but the arm it's for is not an SME, so I have other options to consider before I pull the trigger.
