Mid horn to woofer attenuation

Does anyone know the general rule of thumb on attenuating mid horns. Should they be inline with the woofer impedance, 1db above woofer or 2db above woofer?
I have a cornscala using zxpc 1710 horn with a B&C DE85TN@107db rating and a Crites steel basket woofer@95.3db rating. I am currently at 99db attenuation on a deang universal., so 4db above woofer . Really just curious to other opinions on this. It sounds quite nice there, but could use a touch more bass.
