Midrange ID help please

Working on a pair of ‘SpeakerCraft’ 3way speakers and just pulled a non working 8ohm 5” midrange with a very nice cast aluminum enclosure on back. What do you suggest I replace it with? The brand is pretty well unheard of, but these curb finds are probably from the 80’s or early 90’s. Need cheap price, but something close to oem

Gordon is of course correct on that midrange driver and they turn up on FleaBay quite often usually as pulls from Allen Organ speakers being parted out. They will almost always need a refoam job as the surround foam disintegrates over time as happened to the drivers in your speakers. These mids came in both 8 and 4 ohm versions with most manufacturers using the 8 ohm version with B&O using 4 ohm versions.

Because these mids were used in a variety of speaker brands back in the mid 1970's through mid-1980's most of the listings on FleaBay will likely not be listed as "Peerless Midrange ", so a general search for "midrange speaker" and a scan of the pages of results will hopefully help you locate a pair. They are an excellent midrange driver and worth seeking out and paying the price to wind up with a nicely re-foamed pair.
 
Not familiar with the woofers but the tweeter looks like the old Philips AD0162 or AD0163. Polycarbonate dome is the 162 and fabric is the 163. That speaker has potential.
