Mini Advent Tweeter with de-bonded magnet -- reasonable repair?

Hey all,

I have a pair of Mini Advents that I acquired for free as part of a purchase of a nice pair of New Large Advents (A4) a while back. They had blasted foam surrounds on the little 5" woofers, but I ordered some replacements from Rick Cobb. I had some free time this weekend and finally decided I would give the mini woofers a refoam, as I thought they might make a cool workshop/test speaker.

Unfortunately, when I took them apart, I found that the magnet on the back of one of the tweeters had de-bonded from the front assembly/voice coil, and the magnet was actually stuck to the woofer magnet!

I've never attempted a tweeter repair of this nature before, so I'm wondering if anyone can give me a run-through of what it might take to fix it? Is getting the voice coil aligned, etc. an overly difficult task? What type of adhesive should be used?

Again, I'm into these speakers for a grand total of $0.00, and there seem to be plenty of lone Mini Advents available on the web with working drivers for sub-$50, so I just need to decide whether it's worth my time to fix... might be a good learning opportunity, though!

matt-- Had similar situation with a pair I own purchased via that auction site. I believe the tweeters may have also had ferro-fluid in the VC gaps originally. Since I'm not using them for critical listening, I cleaned up the FF oily mess. Then I carefully inspected the magnet to determine the original orientation. I had got some appropriate glue and reattached the magnet. I ran some audio through the speaker to verify the tweeter was operating before the glue setup. It seemed like there wasn't much margin for error reattaching the magnet. Not having FF in the tweeter VC gap is not ideal, but again, I'm not driving them overly hard and am just using for surround speakers. You could obtain FF and put some back in the gap before reassembly I would think. Others here may have better suggestions. Or you can obtain good used as you mentioned if this seems too tedious. Don't remember which glue I used, sorry 'bout that...
 
Thanks guys! I'll probably just go for the one on eBay for now.... the FF is definitely bone dry at this point.
