Vintage Marantz Stereo Receiver 2238B - $60 (south metro)

Travel back in time with this vintage Marantz Model 2238B stereo receiver in excellent condition. It has survived well for its years - even still has the original plastic protective cover on the front panel and the original handbook of instructions. The body and front are all metal. Try finding that today in a receiver. Permits the connection of two stereo pairs of speakers, a turntable, two tape recorders, stereo headphones, and an auxiliary source.
The receiver is not in perfect condition. One of the speaker channels cuts out and does not work all the time. Not sure what it would cost to fix but maybe a handy person could fix it himself.
The speakers are being sold separately for $145 in another Craig's List listing. They are DLK 1-1/2 Stereo Speakers.
Get the sound you really want out of your stereo system with this set of vintage DLK 1-1/2 stereo speakers by DLK Acoustical. Excellent condition. 2-way loudspeaker system, nominal impedance 4 ohms, power handling 80 watts rms. Two 8-inch woofers and a 3" tweeter, cloth grills. Size 14.5 width x 12.25 depth x 24.5 height.
