Minor score at GW today

Found a pair of Infinity RS 3000's today at my local GW for $15 for the pair.Both woofers and tweeters work great,but the woofers need refoaming.Tested them at low volume level.Just wondering what they may be worth,after I refoam them. Rich

Don't know their value after refoam....but they look pretty clean....nice find!

Nice! They'll be at their market value after you re-foam (you might make a ten off them), but they are definitely worth saving, using, enjoying, etc... I really like the pleasant sound of the polycell tweeters.

I listened to RS 3000s for several years of college. Bought 'em new, and that was as far as my budget would stretch. I wonder what it would be like to listen to a pair now.

Those look like they're in good shape. Let us know what they sound like after the refoaming.

I will dne of the joys of refoaming:bringing good speakers back to life.They will get a good audition.

I would say you could get around $100 for the pair after refoaming.

They do make excellent rear surround speakers as that is what I have in my HT setup. I think $75 would be a good asking price. Use them!

Oh,I'll definitely play with them for a bit.I don't really need them,but they'll be used for a spell.I think I just enjoy refoaming.It keeps me from getting bored,when I'm in the house all day.

Somebody is selling the empty cabs on the bay for $28 ... and there's some other drivers ... lots of spares out there too LOL !
