Miracord 770H arm not tracking? Pics included.

As time allows, I continue work on my 770H. Because it is my secondary TT, I seem to get sidetracked and eventually get back to it. I built a new plinth for it, in the 'Miracord tell all about it' thread.
Anyway, I have a tonearm issue, and a 770H service manual is non-existant. The 50H II is pretty close, but... The arm and mechanism works fine, but, at the almost end of the record it skips, actually binds, but just enough so the stylus can't move the arm. Each time, just the smallest nudge moves it, but it typically will not get to the lead-out groove to trip the return function.
Unless there is some hardened grease above the cycling cam I can't see, the only thing I see is it looks like one of the bearings in the arm ring is missing? How, one bearing could 'fall' out is beyond me.
So, I was hoping someone with a 770h could check under their TT and see if their arm also appears to be missing a ball bearing in the arm ring. I have been cleaning and adjusting this table for hours, and this is the last glitch!
Check the pics to see what I mean. Any help would be appreciated, any trouble-shooting from a 770 service manual could also shed light on the problem, maybe.
Thanks

That gap is normal. You're not missing a ball. Have a real close look for anything foreign in the bearing race like a hair or a fiber.

OK, will do
it only binds at the very end of the last song?
Thanks

I mentioned debris interfering because the bearing race is exposed so it is possible something found it's way inside and somehow manages to stay in the same spot. But your problem might be somewhere else.

The only time I encountered something similar was not with an Elac but a Dual which is totally different animal.
