Mirage OM-7 -- How Do I Get to the Crossover?

I just acquired a pair of Mirage OM-7's. We had some flooding in the neighborhood, so somebody threw these onto the curb. Upon putting them in the minivan, I discovered that there was some water sloshing in the bases of the speakers. I pulled the hex screws and was able to drain the water, but I need to get into the bases to inspect the lower drivers and the crossovers.

The speakers really do look great - particularly for the price! - but I'm not going to hook these things up to an amplifier until I get a look at the electronics. I've removed the two hex screws from the sides of the cabinets but they are still held in somehow. Does anybody know how these things are put together? How do I get to the other fasteners so I can take the cabinets apart?

You should be able to access the crossover by pulling the bass port out.

Thanks. I would like to open up the cabinet to make sure that it is entirely cleaned out. Do you happen to know where the other hardware might be beyond the two hex head screws?

The cosmetic "cheeks" can be detached from inside the cabinet, the main enclosure does not have any openings beside the port opening, the woofer opening, and the terminal cup.

Thanks for your note. If I understand you correctly, removal of those side panels will not provide access to the interior of the speaker enclosure? That would make for laparoscopic crossover surgery!

The good news is that removal of the woofers found only about an eighth of an inch of water left in the cabinet. It smelled a bit like kitty litter but everything looked clean and there was no sign of water getting where it really didn't belong. I disinfected what I could get to. When everything is dry, I'll hook them up and see what happens. No hurry.
