...seller wants $1300. I read these retailed for around $7000, here's the key: I would be buying these solely to flip and make some profit. So my question is to the level of interest in these speakers as well as the price- do you think there would be enough interest to sell them for around double that? Thx

I highly doubt you will double your money. They usually sold on eBay for about $2,500 brand new in the boxes.
And boxes are the big "IF". Someone will want you to ship them and if you don't have original boxes it will be real PITA to do so.
But you might get some profit....all depends on a region you're in and might take a really long time....
Don't ask me how do I know......

Sorry where did you see this? That's where I looked too in trying to gauge whether I could make any money- and all I saw was a seller who had them priced at $1499 EACH new.
