Mirage SM 2.5 3 way speakers...4 ohm or 8 ohm?

Hi there....just got a NAD 7125. It has a speaker impedance switch. You can switch between 4 ohm or 8 ohm. I have Mirage SM 2.5 3 way floor standing speakers. Not much info online. From what I could find some say they are 4 ohm some say between 6-8 ohm. The manual states that most speakers will run just on the 4 ohm default setting. I just want to make sure the Mirage's are 4 ohm. The manual also states if you switch up to the 8 ohm setting you will compromise sound and fidelity. So, kinda confused? Anybody have any info on these speakers...would be much appreciated!

run the amp in 4 ohm if you have doubts, you won't damage anything doing that.
 
Cheers baco99. That's the problem...I don't know if the Mirage's are 4,6, or 8 ohm. Have left it on 4 (normal) for a week...sounds ok.
 
that's what I am saying, running the amp on 4 ohm will be safe to run any speaker higher than 4 ohm for 99% of solid state amps.
