Mirage Speakers?

Craigslist find here...not much out there on these.

2 Mirage 460 speakers
1 Mirage MC-4 center channel speaker
2 Boston Acoustics CRX dipole rear surrounds
Marantz SR-73 receiver

$350

What do I make of this system?

From what I can gather the Mirage 460 are 2-way speakers but not much info. Not much info on the MC-4 and virtually none on the Boston Acoustics?

And the Marantz receiver?

Isnt mirage just klipsch? Granted they probably are just mid tier,, but I dont think they would be horrible. I havent heard a pair, but If you look up sold prices on that big online garage sale, you can haggle.

Mirage was one of the Canadian companies that used govt info to make good sounding speakers. There were a few different brands. Energy and I believe PSB among others.

The price does seem high since a smaller 2-way is usually a c-note a pair or less.

Those Mirage 460's are great speakers. I got them the last production year??, the next line-up is to be avoided 490,790- different drivers.
