Mission bookshelf speaker question

I recently scored a pair of bookshelf-sized Mission speakers. The woman I bought them from had them for ages and either didn't know or couldn't remember the model number. I have looked online and my best guess is that they are 760i's but I am not certain. Anyone here have a better idea?

I was not expecting much from them but they turn out to sound amazing.

Yes, those are 760. Not sure when the "I" version came along. Yours have spring type connectors, I believe the banana jacks were a later upgrade. Hard to remember after all of these years as they are probably from the late 80's. Sold huge numbers of them and I use a pair at the office now. Excellent speakers, great find.

I have a set of those and are the "i" model with the banana type connector. Bought them on ebay years ago with dead woofers. I bought a set of replacement woofers from parts express for around $15ea and they sound fine. I use them in my bedroom system with a Bose AM sub powered by a Technics SU-V8 in class A.....sounds better than most of my friends main systems. They have some great detail with those seas tweeters.....very under rated speaker.

I have a set of those and larger Missions that I had been recently using for HT. Pair those with a sub and you have a very nice set of speakers.

I have the I version they are defo a keeper.

Be careful if you strip them down as that ABS baffle is literally 3mm thick and it's very easy to strip out the threads.

These suffer from port chuffing big time but work really well with a sub and a HPF.
