Mitsubishi LT-30 - in the hunt

I just purchased an LT-30 this morning! After watching ebay for the last three months, I'm starting to believe these are quite rare. I got a fine deal, though I won't be posting it in the "goodwill scores" thread. It looks to be in great shape, including the cover, and purportedly plays just fine. I'll get it home, hooked up, and properly photographed. Very excited.

Congratulations!

That is an excellent find! :tresbon: :thmbsp:

It actually took me longer to get the LT-5V than any of my other tables, (2-B791, 2- 1219, 2-LT-20, LT-22, Yamaha YP-D8, HK T-60, Dual 721) which I got from a fellow Tapehead, in quite excellent shape, just needed some minor repairs and lube. I'd wanted a 5V for a very long time. The clamp is actually pretty adjustable for centering and force, if you take it apart. It's the platter bearing design that I have the most issue with, and the cost cutting execution of some things. It COULD have been every bit as good as an LT-20, so I was a bit disappointed. Still working on the LT-30.
