It is a small company in Florida (turntablecovers? someething like this) who makes covers for several vintage TTs. You can found they thru ebay since they advertise a lot of different covers over there.

I contacted them a couple of years ago asking for a Sansui Xr-Q11 cover and they said they could do it for around $150 IIRC.

The LT-20 cover wouldn't fit LT-30.

I can measure the cover of my LT-30 and send you dimension. However, keep in mind that the LT-30 cover is angled towards the front. The distance between it and the record spindle is very low so you can't use many record clamps or weights. If I would make a new one I would diminish or remove this angle.

EDIT: The company's name is turntabledepot.com. Below is an e-mail I got from them:

....

While we have not made a new clear acrylic replacement dustcover specifically for that model - it is possible - and even likely that we have a model that we are making for another turntable - that may fit reasonabley well.

I BELIEVE that model table uses what are called U CHANNEL HINGES - meaning that the cover simply slides down into a channel in the top portion of the hinge. Is that what you are thinking - OR - does the hinge actually screw onto the dustcover ?

Please let me know on that.

Additionally - in the event we have a new cover that will fit - I would need to know the LOWERMOST OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS of the original cover - OR AT LEAST - the upper outside dimensions of the base itself - so I can determine how close I can come in size to what you need.

If the table does not come with the original cover - how do you propose obtaining the original dimensions.

IF it is a cover that we already make - it would be $100 plus packaging and shipping - depending on where you are.

IF it is NOT a cover that we are already making in production - then the custom cover price - in that size range is $150 plus packaging and shipping to wherever you are.

Please let me know if any of this helps - and if you need additional info.

Thanks for your inquiry !

Tom
