Mitsubishi LT-5V Tonearm Pulley String

A friend gave me this old turntable and in my attempts to get it to work I opened the back and noticed that the turntable belt needs replacing (easy enough) but also that the pulley string for the tonearm has come unattached/stretched out. I am having trouble finding any documentation about fixing or replacing the string. I suspect it needs to be wrapped around the metal drive pulley several turns and go over the white pulley to the right of it as well. The white pulley on the left side has a spring tensioner built into it.

I'll try to find some pics of a similar one I worked on. I don't know if they show details of the cord as I didn't have to work on that aspect.
