Mitsubishi match for speakers

I have a Mitsubishi setup (dp-ec1 turntable, da-c20 preamp, to the da-15dc amp) I was wondering what a good speaker pair up for this set up would be? Right now I am running the sony ss-u521av speakers, which have great mids, but lacking in the bass department. What are a good pair of speakers that wont break the bank but aren't cheap either?

Your best bet for for Mitsubishi speakers that will deliver a little extra bass are the DS-50cs or the DS-40cs as seen here: https://audio-database.com/MITSUBISHI-DIATONE/diatoneds/ds-50c-e.html. You need to be careful. Mitsu speakers are known for blowing midrange units. They sound great, but are not meant to be substitutes for Cerwin-Vega. These speakers are both bass reflex. Other speakers they made from your time period have sealed cabinets and have less bass and don't get as loud. Note: I own five pairs of Mitsubishi speakers from the time period, so I feel like I've got a handle on it.
