Mixed amp boards early Marantz 2270

Restoring an early 2270. Serial# 1157.
Before restoring I wanted to find and fix faults. Plugged in to Dim bulb, and of course there was shorts! Found 3 amp fuse blown, Left amp module bad. Outputs of it blown. Can see this amp module was replaced before (very sloppy soldering), and it does not match right amp module which looks to be original. Left amp board# YD2819009-2

With out the left amp installed the 2270 works, of course needs a real good cleaning and recapping.
I think someone replaced this left board incorrectly, and gave up on repairing it. From first glance it looks like it would have to be wired differently from the original. Any info on that would be appreciated. They say knowledge is power.

Ugh! I've had one like that too. Trouble was that the replaced board was from the same side as the other one so was upside down. The input 1uF film cap was towards the inside of the unit and picked up hum even with the covers on. I had to unwire it, rotate it 180 degrees, redo the wiring to suit and that got rid of the hum.

Moral of the story, be careful to put a replacement in the correct way around!
