MK5 pitch light issue

I purchased an MK5, but I think I realized a new problem with it. When you adjust the pitch slider to zero, should the green light illuminate? It will light up when the reset button is pressed, but the light stays off when the slider itself is zero... is this normal operation?

It looks like on the 1200 MK5, if the slider is acive, the light is on. If it isn't, then the light is off. Check this video out:

Well, I don't think that is correct. It is not correct with my MK2. I would verify it with MK5 owners.

That said, one of the KAB upgrades is to disable the lights (or give you ability to toggle them on/ off). This is to reduce electrical noise within the system (if my general understanding is correct). It should not hamper normal function unless there is a sign of something else going on.

Yea not too big of a deal... speed is spot on and all that. reset button works properly. just something I had noticed, and wondered if thats the way it was supposed to be.
thanks!

Unless you have a need to change pitch, and it holds speed, I wouldn't get too worried about it.
If it is in fact not worknig properly, Im sure there are more thatn a couple fellows who would love to rub it in my face from my previous thread!

It looks like on the 1200 MK5, there is a button to the left of the slider that has the ability to turn on and off the light. Check this video out:

Hopefully the button is just pushed down/up (not sure which way it should be).
yea the light works on my TT when the button is pressed, indicating speed is at zero. when the reset button is off, and the slider is at zero, i believe the light should be on. basically any time speed is at zero, whether by pitch slider, or reset button, i think the light should be on. when my slider is at zero, and the reset button is off, my light is also off. thats alot of on/off..what?

On my M3D, the light only comes on when the pitch reset button is on. This is correct, I imagine the Mk5 is the same.

MK5 here. When the button is pressed to activate pitch the light stays off even at 0. Light only comes on when it is in reset mode.
