"Modded" DCM Time Windows 3 Speakers?

I have been looking for a decent pair of DCM Time Windows and came across this pair for sale on eBay relatively close to me. I have some doubts as to their authenticity, more so, that they may have been "modded" in some way by the PO.

Here is a link to the auction:

There are a number of things that trouble me about these, and not knowing DCMs that well, I was looking to the collective wisdom of the AK community to possibly vet these for me. To-wit:

1.) No serial numbers. Hmm.

2.) Terminals (banana plugs?) not original

3.) Access to crossover, and is it the original?

4.) Volume controls not original, or some sort of a modification?

Something is not right in Denmark, so to speak. I just don't have the warm fuzzies for these. Someone who is better acquainted with these speakers can probably confirm/deny my concerns?

Thanks in advance to all!

Heavily modded! The terminals are original, but it looks like the cardboard is gone. The tops are new, and the crossover with controls is totally new. Maybe the grills are stock. Funny the drivers aren't shown.

The speaker are a worn and missing the lower sticker that mark the factory calibration pots and serial number (they fall off easily), but they are completely stock.
