Vintage Altec Lancing Model 19 - $1800 (Goose Creek)

Selling my cherished Model 19's. These speakers are in beautiful shape and the woodgrain is stunning.These have been updated and honestly improved upon.The cabinets have been cross-braced internally to create a more rigid enclosure.The "home" insulation has been replaced with 2.5" acoustical foam "eggcrate" on the internal walls. Exterior of enclosures were prepped,restained,and sealed.The crossovers were rebuilt by hand.... the original design was not changed but the parts were updated with modern and superior components. Tweeter attenuators were replaced with new parts.The 15" drivers were fully reconed by Great Plains Audio (the authority in Original ALTEC service and parts) as were the tweeter diaphrams new.The end result is Amazing.These are VERY efficient speakers and sound great on just about anything.These babies weigh in at approx 150lbs a piece so not interested in shipping. These DO NOT come with grills...
