Model 22 New Relay not responding

Replaced the relay in my Model 22 cause I figured the old one was bad. Same problem, relay not clicking on. What do I need to look at next? This amp is all original so should I be planning on recapping the power section?

Could be relay driver transistors on the P980 board. Or, the protection circuit could be doing its job. Check the DC voltage on the amp side of the relay contacts.

The relay not clicking is a symptom, not the cause. Either amp issues or power supply issues probably.

Yes, first check the voltages here, they should be 0VDC.
