I have here a 250 with a blown resistor in a place that it seems to happen quite often - R529. 39Ohm 1W. Reading the available addenda I see there is a prescribed "kludge" that I've seen in many original later 250 units.
Has anyone here performed this modification on an OLDER 250 since the service manual and addenda have no say about them? I seems to me this modification was later adopted directly on the board for later model 240s and 1200Bs.
