Model 33 - best way to get to the boards

I am beggining to work on a Model 33 preamp, and I wanted to ask anyone that worked on it - what would be the best approach to get to the boards to work on them? It seems to me I may have to remove all the potentiometers and switches from the front and try to get everything out together.

Any advice will be very much appreciated!
