Modifications to my Technics SL-5

Hello all, I have a technics so- 5 in pretty good condition that I got from a friend. One day, I noticed that it was running a little slow, so I began adjusting the speed from the bottom. While I was adjusting the 33 rpm screw, it fell out into the chassis. I had to take the whole thing apart and unfortunately one of the pieces needed for the speed adjustment pot was lost. I’m looking for suggestions to replace the speed adjustment pot altogether.

The auto return mechanism continues to run even when tonearm is all the way to the right. This results in me not being able to play the tonearm. What do you think went wrong? I took off the return mechanism cover and am looking now

There is a stop micro switch that cuts out when the tonearm reaches the end of its travel. I suspect the adjustable knob that hits the switch is either out of adjustment or else the microswitch is broken.
