Monitor 10 grill pegs replacement

Hi all. I just got my hands on a Polk Monitor 10's, non Peerless for $70. The cabinets has some small scratches and most of the grill pegs are gone. Still thought it was a good deal since i like speakers without the grill, and it sounds awesome. I thought my Boston A60 sounded really great, and first time hearing the Monitor 10's threw me back couple steps! I can't imagine how those $2000 + speakers would sound.

My question is where can i get replacement for the missing pegs? I tried googling but couldn't find any mentions. I found some generic ones on ebay but not sure of the size and if it will fit.

Ok I did some search here and the Polk forum but couldn’t really find how to glue magnets that hasn’t come off yet. At least not exactly step by step as this is all new to me. Do you glue the round white top that meets the magnets on the edge?

The magnet is sandwiched between a top and bottom plate. Use JB Weld metal epoxy and either run a bead entirely around the two plates where they meet the magnet or do spot applications. Wear latex gloves, mix small batches and work fast.

JB weld spot application in 4 equal spots on top plate (pole piece plate) need to do the same on bottom plate (basket plate) 8 total beads.

Would you know how to get rid of stains on the duster cap or cone of the speaker by any chance? I’ve tried goo gone and windex so far. I was thinking about using a sharpie or something to paint over it?

I'd try this with a q-tip. Looks to be in stock at my local Wallymart.
Probably should dilute it with water. Might have to do all the others to match.

Hmmmm....Windex usually does the trick. Anyway, just be careful applying the dye as you don't want any dripping down into the voice coil area.
