Monitor Audio Bronze 5

Hi guys
I just auditioned bronze 5 with marantz PM6005 and i found them very impressive bass, tranarant, nice imaging and very musical. Better than ELAC Uni fi for the pricce.
I did not get chance to audition bronze 6 which has bigger drivers simply cos they were way out of my budget (costing almost cad 2k).

Any word of wisdom or experience b4onze 5 or 6?

I've never A/B'd my silvers against my girlfriend's bronzes, but I always thought that MA stood out against the competition. I auditioned my Silvers years ago against Paradigm, Definitive Technology, Dahli and B&W. They were an obvious choice for my ear.

I was surprised with the clarity and transperancy offered by these speakers. And a deep base was impressive for their size.
Overall they sounded sweeter than B&w 600s series and Elac Uni fi.
I think that's the speaker I'll go for when I am upgrading my system.
I almost hooked myself on Elac but am glad i have MA a try.
Just don't know if i should splurg for bronze 6 or 5 should suffice me for sound quality

I've always liked all the Monitor Audio I've heard too. If in doubt, get the best you can afford. Not likely to regret it.

I might add that the Bronzes I referenced are in a sizeable living room. As is the case with most 6.5" woofer two-ways, they're not a room filler. If you've got a bigger room, you may want to buck up for more cone real estate.
