Hi,

Picked up today a pair of Monitor Audio towers, not sure what the model is. Each speaker have small sticker on the back with letters and numbers - MA303 and 1135. I also got Monitor Audio center channel speaker - same small sticker on the back CC 200 (1728).

Does anyone know those speakers? Are they good? Specification?
I did search the net ( for MA303) and found nothing about those speakers.

Thanks,

If they disappoint you...pm me for my address...just send 'em my way...I take donations...lol!

"Frequency Response: 35hz - 25khz +/- 3db" does not sound right. Those small woofers cannot go down to 35Hz, I guess probably 45 or even 55Hz will be correct.

I just bought a pair of these on EBay for $200 and they are missing the bottom plates. I have to say that because of the 2 4 inch drivers and 1 3/4 inch tweeter they are somewhat lacking in the bass department. Coupled with a good sub and proper placement these speakers deliver the goods. Excellent overall response and no sense of boxiness at all. Both 4.5 inch drivers utilize phase plugs for accurate response. These speakers sound better than the sp-sf52 by a good margin.

The MA Silver "i" series from 20 years ago is full of hidden gems in all formats: tall, medium, and mini towers, bookshelves, centers, and surrounds with a variety of smaller and larger drivers in various quantities along with the famous MA gold dome tweeter. And cheap to boot!
