Monitor Audio Tower Speakers??

Hi Everyone -

Looking for some info perhaps on a pair of Monitor Audio towers I've found nearby. The price is LOW. 20.00 for the pair.

I'm fairly certain that is the Monitor Audio logo showing on the bottom face of these speakers. Can anyone concur? Does anybody know the model number of these particular towers?

I'm going to get them if I can regardless. 20.00 dollars is nothing. I'm still really curious what they are exaclty though

Yes, they're the Silver S6's, a few generations older version of the Silver 6. From the early 2000's. An absolute steal for $20!!

YES!! Thank you Rick!!! I'm not very familiar with Monitor Audio speakers although I've read good things and heard a few different speakers of theirs. I hope it works out. I've messaged him 2 times now, but no response. Thanks again Rick!

Monitor Audio makes excellent speakers. Great sound and build quality! I used to own the Silver RX-1 bookshelf speakers (6" 2-ways) and wish I still had them. As many folks state in reviews, MA speakers can sound bright when matched with the wrong gear or in rooms with a lot of hard surfaces.

Good luck, hope you can get them, and not that he's not responding because they're ready gone.

I have MA Bronze 2 standmounts and really like them a lot. Very balanced and detailed albeit slightly lean in the lower bass. Sound great at low volumes too. They replaced Elac UB5s which were mediocre to my ears.

I have the Bronze 4. They are my main speakers. If you can get those silver 6 for 20 you better hurry.

Those would be a steal at $200. For $20, it's a no-brainer. I have a pair of Silver RS8 towers in my main system that I bought new. The "RS" series followed the "R" series and the "8" was one model above the "6". I'll never sell my RS8 pair.
