Monster DBX BX1 repair help needed!!

Hello everyone!!
I just got my hands on a DBX BX1. After reading the manual, I knew I had to get this thing going. Looking at the internals- Its almost frighting the amount of current this this must generate.All the wires and connections look more like a high voltage transfer station, than a amplifier..
Anyway. The unit powers up,. It shows "overload" on channel 4. I connected the amp to a source and Channel 1 & 2 have audio but seems to be intermittently having good sound and grainy sound like a poor connection, Channel 3 sounds fantastic, and Channel 4 has no sound. I'm assuming from the many articles online that this would be a good vintage project.
I downloaded the schematics, but need to be pointed in the right direction..I'm fairly knowledgeable in electronics and handy with multimeters, soldering ,ect..
Any help would be apperciated.

Maybe something with the switching module for 2, 3 or 4 channel operation? Outputs maybe.
I see this can supply short term into 1 ohm in 2 channel mode with some crazy power output. Hope you don’t have to heft it around much.

Old thread but thought I'd chime in.... did you ever resolve this problem? As the manual states, in 2 ch mode it is bridging all 4 amps together into 2 channels. So, if you have output on the 2 channel position but it does not sound good, it's probably and issue with amp 4.
