Monster Frazier Speakers

Good afternoon. I just came across another set of Frazier's today. They are enormous to say the least. I can't find anything online that looks like them. There is a down firing woofer in each of the cabinets. Do they look familiar to anyone?20200625_131035.jpg
thanks

Didn’t know Frazier made anything like that at all.

Was glad to see they were in your truck!

:lurk:

Does the nameplate provide any info? A brief Google image search for Frazier speakers didn't turn up anything like this, although I did find one set with grill cloth similar to what's on the bottom of yours.

These should be documented, at least with a comprehensive set of hi res inside and out pics posted in this thread, they will become part of the site archive.

I don't know active the facebook FUG(Frazier users Group) is, but there might be interest, and possibly some information there.

Nameplate only has the serial numbers.
I'll be opening them up this weekend and will post more info. Thanks

I'm with onwardjames, I'd give them a listen just to see!

They sure look like organ or PA speakers to me too.

Agree PA or something, when you posted "Monster" size I kinda expected something
a wee bit bigger since Frazier made the model Eleven's.

What makes me think these aren't for PA use is that they're designed only for floor mounting, and PA speakers are usually flown overhead.

Except organ speakers, they often sat next to the organ and had a matching style. Only Frazier didn't make organs, so either these were made for someone who did, or you're right and they're home speakers not PA. The game is afoot!

Looks like a bad attempt to repurpose components. The bottom w/driver could come from another Frazier. Under the grill looks really close to the "Black Box", but the horn seems a little wide, (see picture).
