Monster Quad 57 stack on eBay

I’m in the midst of building a set of stacked Quad 57’s and I thought THEY were big... and mine are “only” 2 speakers a side - these are FOUR Quad 57’s high! 107” tall!

Considering that a nice pair of PK Restored 57’s go for around $2500 this looks like a great deal for FOUR pairs. Too bad they’re local pickup in Chicago only, and seems the seller has pretty sketchy feedback. If I were local I would be checking them out for sure. NOAF.

very poor listing. pics suck, no images of anything except those monoliths in cabinets. How is one to know that what is listed is what will be in the unit?

As written and with those pics, it isn't even worth a look.

Most f his positive feedback is as a buyer. He's literally 50% as a seller. I wouldn't touch that auction with a ten foot pole.

I saw these. Tempted, being 3 hours from Chicago. Feedback scores are DEFINITELY scaring me away though. I feel like I’d have to verify with Wayne that he built them, open them up for a look, etc. Plus I don’t have a room tall enough for them (minor detail)! Pretty crazy though if they are legit and in good condition.

Yeah so many red flags here - really seems too good to be true. I agree step one would be contacting Wayne to confirm he built these. Then, maybe try to email the seller directly and try to get him on the phone for a conversation - I’ve found a phone convo can go a long way - if you’re spidey sense starts tingling- run!

If you check the sellers listings, he has a 2nd pair for sale as well, with a higher starting price and best offer. Or listed them twice is different ways.
