Making a real effort not to buy more equipment until I thin the herd. But, I never turn down a Beatles album. Flipping through a box of records I came across another Sgt. Pepper in near mint condition with cutouts. Looks like it's never been out of the sleeve. My fourth Sgt. Pepper. Have three different coloured Capitol labels. Also got another Abbey Road. Cover is good but again vinyl is excellent. Finally, Concert For Bangladesh with booklet and Woodstock triple LP set. All the vinyl is like new but covers have wear. Total cost-$4.00 .

Great Find!

Congrats! I have all my own early releases, but have not started collecting dupes yet (no TT!). Is it possible to ever have too many Beatles Albums?

Two months ago I hit a GW as it opened and the guy was putting out someones collection that was turned in the night before. I bought 12 mint condition records six Beatles and six Fleetwood Mac for $.50 each. The Sargent Peppers was a Yellow record in a album that opened like a double door. Not at the end but in the center. It had a left and right side. The record went in the end.I made one call and sold it for $250.The guy offered me 150 for the album alone. Once in a while we get lucky.I also have two other Pepper album that are different.

I would've kept it...

My thought exactly. At times it is enjoyable to have things that you know you did very well. I have a signed copy of "The Cobra Story" by Carroll Shelby. I picked it up for $1. Another copy recently sold for over $400. No need to sell mine.
Must have been a foreign pressing of Sgt. Pepper. Also noticed one of my copies has SMAL 2653 catalog error. :scratch2:

What label is the error SMAL 2653? I know it should be SMAS 2653.

I have several copies of Sgt. Peppers. I would like to have a mint or near mint copy in mono with the original sleeve and cut outs. My original stereo copy is in very good + condition.

Sgt. Peppers is one of the best LP ever released.

SMAL error is not on the label. It is on the cover-backside upper right. Really don't know how much it changes things $$$.
