More information about.. Google search ?

Did a Google search just to see what a Pioneer SX-990 is and looks like that someone was asking about, and now I have this big box on every page reminding me I searched. "Upgrade Your Plumbing Now! Deals on Pioneer 990"

Did I get invaded with a virus or malware, or a Trojan or ???

Can't seem to get rid of it.

Guess I will shut'er down and do a full virus scan. What a pain. Just did one earlier today.

I got the same thing and I use linux so I don't think its a virus. Just adblock it.

No its not a virus. Its a program we were thinking of using for non logged in traffic only. Something went wrong and its hitting us all. It will be removed ! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks now we know!

Looks like the virus scanner removed some "pointroll" advertising cookies I have not seen before. This little incident had me very concerned, as a month ago now I did get invaded by a nasty Trojan which released all sorts of havoc on my computer and the only resolution was to buy a new HDD and restore everything from a full backup which I do twice a week.
