SV VTP 101i pre amp..A last gen build of the Series 2 mk4 preamps from Dynaco fame..
SoundValves made some great changes to the design like a very well thought out phono stage..
Function and feel.is top notch, using some German tubes in critical places with much tonal success..Cathode follower design..

Together with paper in oil and copper foil modded Brauns studio monitors with passive stereo fed subs on network controllers the SoundValves system has better layering and textures with very good bottom end support something my McIntosh M30s didnt have much of..
I enjoy a dynamic and full.range system..i never pushed my M30 blocks nor the 8b Marantz i once used but i do push these blocks pretty hard and in doing so i dont hear the system falling apart, its pretty solid top to bottom and actually got a very good bottom end with 2 ohm binders in back but on these Brauns their F3 roll off is 45hrz so i fill the rest in with big mass drivers coupled to each of its perspective monitor in a stereo fed signal , dual mono controllers and a RMX QSC amp ...blend and extend i say...20210320_003559.jpg

Those STs sure are better looking than their heritage ..i always wanted one to go with my blocks so i could do a bi amp arrangement..Ehh in my case it would be tri amping...
