Motorola SK32W - Where to begin?

Hello All - recently acquired this cool stereo from a neighbor… it’s in relatively good shape for its age, but noticed a couple of tubes are cloudy and expect it needs some caps replaced and the electronics looked at. I am fairly handy but tube electronics are completely new to me.

Hoping you guys could help point me in the direction of where to begin research (or tell me not to be an idiot and use a service tech)…

Located in Denver metro area. Open to using a tech but have seen reviews of a local HiFi store being incredibly expensive for minor work.

The old owner’s family plugged it in and turned it on, against my guidance.. I did not yet own it so couldn’t really stop them. Radio does work - but I did get them to unplug it right after proving it worked.

Appreciate any thoughts and tips you may have as I start in on this!

I see you joined today so first of all welcome to AK and here's hoping you enjoy your stay here.

As to the cloudy tubes they are shot and need to be replaced looks like there is an extra rectifier tube.

SK32W is the model # of the console itself, notice it say built by Drexel which is a very respected NC furniture maker so kudo's on acquiring a nice piece

The model # of the amp is HS-775C, info here, also here is a long running dedicated thread on Motorola consoles which is a great place to start some research.
