The movie Is an English film called Highway in the Sky with Jimmy Stewart. He plays a scientist that predicts the failure of the tail on a new airliner do to stress. The movie came out in 1951. That's one year before the de Havilland Comet entered service in 1952. The de Havilland Comets suffered 3 explosive decompressions. When tested they found that the windows squares corners concentrated stress to a small point inducing a crack and the following explosive decompression. Changing to rounded corners on the windows solved the problem. The damage was done and people didn't want to fly on the Comet even though after the repairs and upgrade it was a good airplane.
