Moving the Line

AK pages start with a 'canned' header that's so long you have to scroll up a full screen to get past it. How do other AKers feel about having pages automatically scroll to the start of the subject matter, if that's possible? Or, with regard to the gods of commerce, maybe putting the 'featured sponsor' block as the last item in the header and auto-scrolling down to there?

But in ourselves..."

If this was a problem with the VBulletin software, everyone would experience it. I've never seen it, and haven't heard of anyone else who has.

The scrolling quit bothering me in the time it took to remember our new wonderful server.

Toze, I think he means that when you open a thread, there is the AK banner, ads, etc that take up the whole screen, before the content of the thread starts. At least it does on a 19" monitor.

On my 19" CRT, the opening post appears, because I press F11, to open the window to full screen size. That eliminates/downsizes the contents of the IE toolbar.
