Aww, that's not the price I was hoping to see. I would love to have one of those, but can't really afford $350 for a table I don't need. Seems like it could be a great deal though. Wonder what the "new high end needle" is.

I'm wondering about the 'new belt' on this direct drive. There is an 'arm belt'.I doubt that it would be getting changed.

the arm belts can go bad. that's originally why i thought it best to track down a parts unit with a good belt. if they installed a good belt from a parts unit (originals are NLA and can't be sourced from anywhere else that I know), then this is a very good deal indeed...if the replacement was done properly.

My misgivings about this really centre on the terminology of the ad itself.

I can't imagine someone who had gone to the effort of replacing the arm belt on a PX-2(whether they hired a third party or diy'd it)saying "new belt" as a summation of the work that was put into the item for sale. The "new high-end needle" description of the cartridge in residence, similarly doesn't jibe with my idea of the type of owner who would refurbish one of these turntables.

That's all.Call it "something here don't add up".

The PX-2 does have a small belt from the arm motor to the drive roller of the main arm belt, perhaps that is what is "new".
