Hello all
My MR77 tuner tuning strength meter bulb is out. I have some leftover #1847 bulbs from replacing bulbs on my old MC2105 and while i am removing the bottom plate, I would like to replace the front panel bulbs too. The service manual calls for #1847 for meters, which I presume is for the signal strength indicator and the tuning meter. However, the front panel lights call for a #1866. The only difference between these two bulbs that I can find, is that the 1847 draws less power at .15 amps than the #1866 at .25 amps.
Can I safely use the 1847 meter bulbs in place of the 1866 for the front panel? Seems like it should be ok since it will draw a little less power, I know it will be a little dimmer but not by much I would think.
Thank you!
