ms-300 question

[mac man]

I have been reading the new ms750 thread and some of the posts indicate that the ms300 is very hard to get now that mc has dropped the price. Is this a discontinued piece or will mc continue to make both the ms300 and the ms750?

Thanks,
Dave

I think the MS300 is closing out

I think Jimmy is right

On these music servers, can you play a disc on the tray in the machine, or is it for ripping music to the hard drive only? If you can play redbook CDs on it, does it sound any good?

can you play a disc on the tray in the machine

Yes
It sounds better if you run thru digital a MDA1000 or a MX135/119

Yes, discontinued. And yes, you can play a cd just like a regular cd player
