MT5 Turntable Connection to McIntosh Integrated Amp

When connecting the McIntosh MT5 turntable to a McIntosh integrated amp that has both MM and MC Phono inputs, the connection must be made to the MM input since the MT5 is fitted with a High-Output MC cartridge.

The Sumiko Blue-Point (or whatever it's called) is a very mediocre cartridge in my humble opinion -- I couldn't stand it when I first got my MT-5 and I was regretting my purchase of the MT-5. I quickly replaced it with an Ortofon 2M Bronze and it made the MT-5 worth every penny I paid for it. The 2M Bronze can be later upgraded to the 2M Black by replacing the stylus.
