Hello, about half an hour ago I replaced my Technics SL-1800’s RCA Cables, the old ones were 44 years old and finally gave out earlier today.
Everything went well while replacing the cords. I soldered everything to the correct spot. Easy stuff.
Well, now every time I play a record, there’s a super fuzzy and muffled sound coming from my mixer.
I know very well it isn’t my mixer since I tested the ports with another turntable and it was fine
And I know it’s not the headshell, I tried 3 different needles.
Can someone please help me. I’m panicking because i’m worried i might have seriously screwed up this beautiful turntable.
