Multiple turntables

I run two turntables in my main system and because the two cartridges have very different requirements each turntable has its own dedicated phono stage. After years of running with just one phono stage I find this arrangement so much more convenient.

I currently have a VPI Scout/Rondo Blue/homebuilt stepup running into the very nice sounding phono stage of my preamp. I have started adding some 78's to my spiral grooved music disk collection. I just ordered a refurbed Dual from Bill Neumann for the purpose of playing them and maybe for spinning some of my older mono's. What do you folks that are running multiple tables do for switching. Input switch boxes or plug/unplug?

You can run a single VPI table that runs 33/45/78. If you have to use 2 tables, get a phono stage that can handle 2 inputs and then you should be set. Or use 2 separate phono stages.
